Kering Beaute drafts in L’Oreal Executive to head up Americas region

THE WHAT? Kering Beaute has announced the appointment of Alexandre Choueiri to the newly created role of President and CEO, Americas. Choueiri joined the company in October last year from L’Oreal Luxe as President at House of Creed Latin America.  

THE DETAILS Prior to his role at Creed, Choueiri spent almost two decades working for L’Oreal, most recently as Global President Ralphy Lauren Fragrances.

THE WHY? Kering Beauty CEO, Raffaella Cornaggia and Creed CEO, Sarah Rotheram said in a joint statement, per WWD, “During his tenure, he implemented a strategy of brand elevation and a focus on retail flagships, pop-up stores and digital innovation… He contributed to the elevation and turnaround of the brand, and its successful expansion into new markets. We are in great hands with Alex, who will oversee the Americas.”
