Aesop unveils Salone del Mobile installation in Milan

THE WHAT? Aesop has cut the ribbon on a series of design installations in Milan inspired by its own products timed to coincide with Salone del Mobile 2024. The L’Oreal-owned brand’s first official partnership with Salone chimes with its design-led heritage.

THE DETAILS At Aesop’s newest Milan store, Body Cleansing Slabs form a literal ‘soap salon’, where a therapist will enact a live performative facial each day to demonstrate the brand’s approach to cleansing.

THE WHY? No Insta-bathroom is complete without a bottle of Aesop sink-side, the brand has long been the go-to for style commentators so this collaboration makes sense. As Aesop explains in a statement, “An avant-garde and sensitive approach to spaces and objects has always been integral to the brand.”
