THE WHAT?  The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. has completed its acquisition of DECIEM Beauty Group Inc., a Canadian-based, multi-brand company known for its innovative approach to skincare. ELC initially invested in DECIEM in 2017, became the majority owner in 2021, and has now purchased the remaining interests for an estimated US$860 million, totaling approximately US$1.7 billion over the three tranches.
